Guy and Catherine Diebold of the Thibodaux Pétanque Club recently traveled to Asheville, North Carolina, to complete the Level 1 CIEP/FPUSA Coaching Training Certification. The three-day course was hosted at the charming Rendez-Vous Restaurant, known for its warm hospitality and authentic French bistro cuisine.

Under the expert instruction of Claude Rauley and Georges Dalbigot, approximately 20 FPUSA members, as participants gained valuable insights into coaching techniques, player development, and fostering the spirit of pétanque in their communities. Guy and Catherine successfully completed the program and look forward to bringing their new skills and enthusiasm back to Louisiana to grow the game of pétanque along the bayou.
